​Dr. Darryl Wheat is a highly educated and experienced psychotherapist and psychoanalyst.  He has testified as a forensic court expert, he is a published author, a provider of continuing education, as well as a self-development trainer and motivator.

 

Dr. Wheat has been a provider of individual psychotherapy for over three decades, giving him much experience in the areas of child and adult trauma, PTSD for children, adults and veterans, divorce issues, phobias, adjustment disorders, and development issues. Dr. Wheat's expertise has been called upon in over 500 court cases in 7 different states.

Dr. Wheat is licensed by the Mississippi Board of Examiners as a Clinical Social Worker. He is also credentialed by the American Board of Examiners as a Board Certified Diplomate in the areas of Clinical Social Work and Psychoanalysis.

Dr. Wheat began his educational accomplishments by achieving a B.S. in Psychology. He also achieved Master's Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Social work. He earned his Doctorate at Smith College in the area of Clinical Social Work.
